How to use Bucket Minecraft Item
A bucket full of water can be used on mobs that live underwater like:
- snow fish
- salmon
- tropical fish
- Puffer fish
- salamander
- tadpoles
To collect mobs in buckets to transport to another location. Mobs in item form become a group of underwater mobs.
Empty barrels can be used to “pick up” a water or lava source block by pressing the usage item on a block of the relevant type. If the empty crate is part of the stack and the player’s inventory is full, the full crate will drop in front of the player as an item.
A container full of the source block can then be used to either place its source block content in an empty block next to the face of the block the player is currently viewing, or replace the viewed block with some replaceable block .
One can press use when looking at a cow, mooshroom or goat to fill the bucket with milk. A bucket full of milk can only be emptied by using it to craft a recipe or drink it.
An empty bucket can be used to fill a cauldron with water or lava, filling the bucket with liquid. This does not work with dispensers.
A lava barrel placed in the furnace’s fuel slot becomes an empty vat after the lava is consumed during the smelting process.

An empty bucket can be used to collect powdered snow, filling the bucket with powdered snow. Empty the powder snow bucket, placing the powder snow block on the empty block next to the face of the block the player is currently viewing.
