Discover a new guide for Requiem Mod Wiki. Requiem Mod is a mod that aims to eliminate the constant interruption caused by death.
In vanilla Minecraft dying is very annoying and bland: you are redirected to a menu where you can choose to reappear at your spawn point and lose all your items and or exit the game.
Once Requiem is installed, death gives way to various gameplay elements and this menu breaking feature will be removed.

Feature
Requiem is a Minecraft mod (Java Version) that aims to eliminate the constant interruption caused by death.
To avoid being bland and possibly annoying when you die in MInecraft because you lose all your items. With Requiem installed, this barebones system gives way to a whole new aspect of the game.
Why do you want to use it?
Requiem is perfect for players willing to make death a little different than most games.
Requiem also has the following features and benefits that other players can discover:
Adventurers want to venture far into their world, only to meet death that brings them back to the respawn point. As such, Requiem allows for an endless journey, so you don’t have to take the same path twice.
Players want to change their gameplay by playing the role of a zombie, running away from sunlight, drowning endlessly in the ocean or finally looking for prey to eat.
And players want to experience this new Death, while some friends don’t. The mod allows both Vanilla and Requiem death systems to coexist in the same world, depending on the needs of each player.
Begin
Running the mod will require:
- Quilt
- Quilt Standard Libraries (QSL).
For more information on how to use Quilt, please visit the official developer website.
You can copy the resulting jar file and download Requiem, if Quilt is installed on your copy of Minecraft Java.
Same as always downloaded Quilt Standard Libraries jar file
In the mods folder located in the Minecraft installation folder
Your Quilt Server directory.
Please make sure to have the latest version, as we will not accept issues related to older versions.
After completing the previous steps, launch your game and when you die for the first time, Requiem will ask you if you want to activate the modified death system through an interactive dialogue. Be careful, because once selected, the dialogue will not be prompted a second time and you will have to use a special item to change that.
