Adds 3 new blocks to the game, giving you control over creatures in the area around your building.
Mega Torch:
This magical torch emits light as strong as a glowing stone (15). But the Mega Torch is not only another expensive light source, it also prevents the spawning of hostile entities due to the low level of light in a rather large radius (default 32 blocks) around the torch. So you can finally start building dark cellars or barely-lit villages without fear of zombie invasion at night. Remember, this torch only prevents spawning in low light conditions – natural spawning.
Terrain lighter:
A block that places the torch in a configurable area. Terrain lighters require fuel (Coal, wood or any other burning fuel), torch and redstone signal to work (Lever, Redstone Torch, etc.).
Blocks help you light up your surroundings while building your house in the early game. Keep in mind that the Terrain Lighter isn’t perfect, there may be some spots where there isn’t enough light to stop the mobs from spawning, but it should be good enough for all the slugs out there.
The Dread Lamp:
a lamp that works similar to a mega torch but instead prevents the natural spawning of passive mobs
Animals:
Bat, Ocelot, Squid, Pig, Sheep, Cow, Chicken, Rabbit, Wolf, Horse (including Zombie Horse!), Llama, and other Entities that implement IAnimals. Pets will still be active inside the lamp’s working volume! Only natural reproduction will be prevented. By default, the Lights have a greater range (64 blocks) because the purpose of the light is to reduce annoyances like giant swarms of squid spawning around your ocean base, etc.
