Discover a new guide for Up And Down And All Around Mod at MC Wiki. This is a mod that can change the direction of the player’s movement due to gravity.
It was originally created as part of a Modification Experiment, where it was simply “Up and Down” and only allowed the player to reverse gravity and “fall” upwards.
Mod type:
“Up And Down And All Around” (referred to as “Up And Down”) allows the player to change the direction of gravity to any base point (up, down, north, east, south, west).
The Gravity Generator adjusts the player’s gravity in an area.
The Gravity slider adjusts the gravity in your luggage, allowing you to freely change the direction of gravity. Gravity anchors can’t change direction, but they’re cheap to generate and overpower other gravity sources early in the game. Be careful when crafting, as it takes effect as soon as you remove it from the workbench.
Up And Down And All Around Feature:
- “Up And Down And All Around” (referred to as “Up And Down”) allows the player to change the direction of gravity to any base point (up, down, north, east, south, west).
- (If you use this mod with Galacticraft/Advanced Rocketry or other mods above y=255, you will need to tweak the settings to not take damage or die when you exceed y=255. .)
- The Gravity Generator adjusts the player’s gravity in an area.
- The Gravity slider adjusts the gravity in your luggage, allowing you to freely change the direction of gravity.
- Gravity anchors can’t change direction, but they’re cheap to generate and overpower other gravity sources early in the game. Be careful when crafting, as it takes effect as soon as you remove it from the workbench.
Antimass can sometimes drop while mining ore. This can be seen when one of the items that fall out of the mined block starts to float and bounce. The probability of falling and the number of drops can be controlled in the settings. Instead, FakePlayers inserts Anti-Mass items directly into the drop, so you won’t find much floating ore in the quarry. (Orbs such as amulets/rings/belts that appear in the creative tab are WIP because they have no crafting recipes or regular textures. May be removed prior to release.)
- Liquid antimass is used as the fabrication material. The top recipe returns 4 empty bins in the crafting grid and the bottom recipe returns 3 empty bins in the crafting grid
- The weak gravity generator is the cheapest and lowest priority gravity generator
- Normal Gravity Generator is the middle stage of Gravity Generator
- Strong gravity generator is the most expensive and highest priority gravity generator
- Anti-Mass blocks are used in crafting and can also be used as decorative blocks or storage blocks
The Personal Gravity Controller is the middle tier of the Gravity Controller, overwhelming both Weak and Normal Gravity Creator. Crafting recipes using any of the basic Gravity Controllers.
The Basic Gravity Controller is the cheapest Gravity Controller and overpowers the Weak Gravity Generator. Crafting recipe that takes any Gravity Anchor
Crafting recipes
Ultimate Gravity Controller has the highest priority of all. Crafting recipes use any of the Personal Gravity Controllers at the top or left (as shown in this image) or at the bottom or right of the crafting grid. The central element is the space-time anomaly (with dynamic texture).
The Gravity Anchor is the earliest handheld gravity control device you can create, taming all but strong gravity. Gravity effects apply even if you pick them up from your inventory with your mouse pointer, so be careful when crafting them.

Grav Iron is a crafting material
- Graviton Pearls are crafting materials, but can also be used to push/pull nearby entities by holding down right-click and sneak to switch between the two modes.
- The push/pull effect isn’t very strong compared to most items from other mods with similar abilities, but is relatively good at pulling items and pushing projectiles.
The space-time anomaly is (for now) just a crafting material.
Gravity
Gravity Paste can be crafted with any armor or trinket to allow interaction with Normal strength gravity. By default you need to wear 4 pieces of armor/jewelry with Gravity Paste, However this can be changed in the settings.
Gravity Paste can be removed from armor/jewelry by crafting them with a Bucket of Water
The Grav-Iron device allows interaction with weak gravity and can be crafted in the same way as regular Iron Armor, but with a barrel of Liquid Anti-Volume or by crafting liquid armor yourself.
The Grav-Iron gear has significantly less armor than regular Iron armor.
- The Gravity Glasses allow you to see the area of action of the Gravity Generator when worn or held in your hand. The recipe takes any glass block.
- Destabilized Anti-Mass is a crafting ingredient. By default, it will be destroyed if dropped, but this can be disabled in the configuration.
- Restabilised Anti-Mass is a crafting ingredient
- Gravity Paste crafting example
- Gravity Paste removal example
- Basic gravity controller, activated to wear the Grav-Iron Armor Plate.
- Gravity controllers will always display their current operating direction
- Choosing a new direction will disable the old direction
- If you don’t wear the Grav-Iron equipment, the Basic Gravity Controller won’t work
- Gravity controllers show how much gear you need to wear and how much you’re currently wearing in their tooltip
- Grav-Iron equipment counts as 4 items with Gravity Paste. This can be changed in the configuration
- Devices that allow interaction with a specific type of gravity will also be detailed in the tooltip
- Devices that allow interaction with a specific type of gravity will also be detailed in the tooltip
- If you don’t have enough equipment, the tooltip will reflect that
- It will also show that, or if you have more than you need.
- Ultimate Gravity Controller does not need any wearable equipment to take effect
Particles will spawn in the area where the Gravity Generator will impact.Gravity Goggles will show a white box for a Weak field, a purple box for a Normal field, or a blue box for a Strong field
Gravity Generators have a GUI to change the area/volume they affect. (Y)/(X)/(Z) represents the relative X/Y/Z directions seen by someone affected by the Gravity Generator.
If the Gravity Generator is inactive, the box will be more transparent and it will not spawn any particles.
Likewise, the Gravity Anchor does not require any wear equipment to operate
Go for a swim. End!
