Acacia Fence Breaking

Wooden fences are broken fastest with an ax but will fall apart when broken with any tool. The Nether Brick Fence requires a pickaxe; exploiting it with anything else will destroy it and not drop anything.

Acacia Fence Block Usage

Fence

Although fences appear to be one block tall and have a damage box height of one block, their collision box (for entities) is 1.5 blocks high, meaning most mobs can’t jump over them otherwise has Jump Boost status effect. They are transparent to light and there are visual gaps in the model. Spiders can climb over fences, just like any other vertical object.

A fence occupies the central space of the blocks and automatically connects to any solid block placed next to it. Wood fence connects to other wooden fence, but not to Nether brick fence. However, the Nether brick fence connects to the wooden fence gate. [1] Mobs cannot pass between the Nether brick fence and the wooden fence, although the player can.
