Dragon Mounts: Legacy Mod is an expansion version from the previous version called Dragon Mounts, it was originally developed by Barracuda/ATA4 but now it is owned by UnitKay9.
The purpose of the Legacy Mod is to create a simple portal of the originally mounted dragon for modern versions of Minecraft. It adds several other changes and fixes, allowing you to hatch previously useless dragon eggs. After being raised and tamed, it will be your loyal companion, accompanying you through all situations in the game, you can also use it to ride them.

This is a mechanic build and a continuation of this magic in the modern version of Minecraft.
- By implementing:
- Small updates
- Mechanism expansion
- The purpose is to upgrade the quality,
- Maintain a sense of LEGACY.
- Custom parameters to tame items for each breed
- Custom parameters for breeding items per breed
- Identify the appropriate age scale of dragons on the client, thus making them invisible
- Tag habitats now use a uniform list and can reference tags, blocks, or arrays of either.
- The original cards are still in the base mod and are being used.
DM:L has a completely reworked codebase with original bits and pieces here and there.

- The ability to change points is rewarded for meeting the breed’s habitat

DML is designed with customization in mind. Dragon breeds can be fully customized through the use of json files. A whole new breed can be created by combining data packs and resource packs.
Json-based breed system only available in for Minecraft 1.18+
