This mod adds the ability to smelt more items per coal depending on the type of furnace; up to 40 items per coal with Diamond Furnace as well as two items at a time with Obsidian Furnace.
You can also mix and match items together in your furnace reaction. This becomes more minimalistic, as there is no need to build a room full of furnaces unnecessarily, just to be able to smelt different ores at the same time.
More Furnaces Mod Wiki
These are iron furnaces, gold furnaces, diamonds, obsidian and Netherrack. Let’s see the benefits together:
- Cast iron furnace: improve efficiency, allowing to burn 10.6 items per unit of coal.
- Gold Furnace: it allows us to burn 20 items per unit of coal.
- Diamond Oven: cook 40 elements per unit of coal.
- Oven obsidian: allows us to cook two items at the same time at the same speed as the iron furnace.
- Oven Netherrack: no fuel is needed, but we light it with lighters.
An interesting addition to this is that the Netherrack Furnace does not require any ignition. You just need to burn it on the flame and it will smell endless. One downside is that it takes 90 seconds to melt each item.
How to Install More Furnaces Mod
Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
- Locate the Minecraft application folder.
- Open Run from the start menu.
- Type %appdata%, and click Run.
- Input where More Furnaces Mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
When you open Minecraft, you see More Furnaces Mod is installed then click the button mods
