Discover a new guide for Scape and Run: Parasites Mod Wiki. This mod adds parasite themed mobs to your Minecraft game for you to fight,
they can be dangerous, scary and some of them can learn from their battles to evolve.

They don’t have a specific spawning biome, so you can find them anywhere.
Parasites do not burn during the day and they can attack other hostile mobs (optional).

Feature:

Assimilated Cow

  • One of the victims of the Vanilla parasite, when killed you can find what’s inside

Assimilated Big Spider

  • Of unknown origin, one of the parasite’s victims can fire a web missile.

Assimilated Human

  • The living individuals are controlled by a parasite that hunts down the creatures they once fought. .

Assimilated Sheep

  • One of the victims of the Vanilla parasite, when killed you can find what’s inside.

Assimilated Wolf

  • One of the victims of the Vanilla parasite, when killed you can find what’s inside.

Buglin

  • Insect-like creatures that can be found inside infected victims.

Rupter

  • Insect-like creatures that can infect cows, sheep, and wolves and make them fight for their goals.

Heavy Carrier

  • A large, slow creature with a large health bar. It can explode on its own to free up more minions that are immune to poison.

Flying Carrier

  • A small, flying creature. It can explode on its own to free up more minions that are immune to poison.

Vigilante

  • They are built for territorial purposes so you will only find them on infected terrain

  • Fast and able to poison its victims, they are known for their mobility and high damage

The Summoner Branch

  • These can summon reinforcements so you should destroy them first

The Yelloweye Branch

  • Flying creature capable of firing poisonous missiles.

The Manducater Branch

  • These like to be invisible so be quiet, you can hear them

The Bolster Branch

  • The Bolsters are faction supporters and are known for their ability to buff nearby parasites.

System:

Reinforcement system:

  • When a parasite is killed, a Beckon will appear nearby and will help in the fight. Beckon has different stages and that will dictate how many and which parasites it will spawn. You can change the Beckon mob spawning in the config file
  • The beckons also have the ability to damage nearby blocks, vandalized blocks can damage all mobs except the parasites, you can change values like “maximum block hardness to destructive block” “, “level of light to spread to another block” and more in the config file.

System consolidation:

Infected ones have the ability to learn from their battles, and if the conditions are met, they will begin to melt until becoming some mobile Flesh.
If 2 of these meet, they will merge and grow, if they are large enough, they will spawn a primordial mob (with half the total health) (Infected Dorpa is the only one). at least not melted).

  • Conditions for the infected person to turn into Mobile Meat:
  • The first condition: the infected person must reach the initial number of kills..
  • Second condition: it needs to be next to 3 other infected animals, regardless of their kill/species OR it needs to be next to the moving Flesh.
  • If the infected person kills next to at least 3 more infected, all four of them will start to melt BUT if it is next to the moving Flesh, then only it will start to melt .

Gate

Dhanantry has determined that he wants to complete the Mod in 1.12. This means that there are no plans regarding the Gateway. No Gateways are allowed without the Developer’s permission, including Bedrock Portals. Attempts to execute Unauthorized Portals will be halted. Parasite Score

This could be due to the Rising Latency. For 20 minutes after reaching a new Stage, Parasites will not be able to gain Points. This can be avoided with the /time add 24000 command or setting the Phase # Delay option in the configuration to 1.

Reduced Points

You can use Bait to reduce Scores. Putting one down and right-clicking it with your bare hands will deduct the Points of the Evolution Stages, depending on the Decoy used.

Parasites/Destructors don’t attack Mobs.

Parasites leave Mobs passive to Rupters, because they are the only Parasites that have a 100% chance of assimilating Mobs. Rupters will not immediately attack Mobs during Phases 0 and 1, but give Mobs the Call Of The Hive Effect, which will slowly assimilate them.

Parasites can break these blocks.

Parasite Biome

starting from Stage 5, Biomes are created by Nodes and created by Stage IV Beckons,

Delete Green Block/Bioms

Green Blocks, or Infected Blocks, are generated by Beckons Stages I, II, and III. Kill them all and cover the entire Infested Area in lava or kill them to prevent more Beckons from spawning from them. ONLY after killing a beckoning Phase I, all Infested Blocks will be reverted to Dirt by Residue;
Blocks with Red and Black color palettes are generated by the Parasite Biome. Kill Stage IV Beckon in the center of the Biome and destroy the Node. If you want to clean up the Biome clutter, use the Filter, which will change the IDs of the Biome’s 3×3 blocks to the Plain Biome. Blocks will not disappear.

This parasite does not die/take damage

  • This could be an Adaptive System. Some Parasites are able to learn the Source of Damage when they are attacked, eventually becoming nearly invulnerable to them.
  • They adapt to each hit, so avoid Weapons that deal damage in multiple hits and instead focus on Weapons that deal massive damage in one hit.
    Fire slows and delays Adaptation, so it is important to fight these Parasites.
  • You can also trim the tentacles to reset the Parasite’s Adaptability, or hit the Weaknesses to increase damage. Tendons and Weaknesses have their own damage boxes, which can be seen by pressing F3+B.
  • You can see more information about Adaptation on its own Page. If you want to reduce adaptability, you can do so in the config file.

Appear in chat

The Parasite has reached the Next Stage from gaining Points, the message in the chat is a warning about that. You can check which Stage you’re in with the Bloody Clock or by using the /srpevolution getphase command, but this will only work when Cheat Mode is on and you’re in Creative Mode ( This is a bug that will be fixed in 1.9.

Assimilation mobs

COTH does not affect the Player and you can use Camouflage Effects on your animals. COTH cannot go through 4 blocks, use this block to protect your animals. You can see more information about the COTH Effect on its own Page.

Beckons/Dispatchers/etc

By default, Nexus and Deterrence will die when they spawn before Stage 3. This is because they cannot spawn naturally during Phase 2 or below, unless this stage is lowered with a Bait. lure. To avoid this, set the dimension to Stage 3 with commands. In 1.9.12, there will be a configuration option to disable the feature if you choose to do so.

Parasite before Smite/Bane of Arthropods

The parasite is not a zombie, nor is it an arthropod. Use Sharpness and Fire Charms like Fire or Flame Aspects.

Sentient Weapons

Sentient Weapons are currently not craftable. In addition, the Parasite Bag is an In Progress Block that is not currently in use

Reproductive parasites

  • Switch your visible distance to 10 or higher, as the vanilla bug causes less mobs to spawn if your visible distance is below 10.
  • You can also try to install BoostMobs Mod, at your own risk. You can also increase the Mob Cap of the Parasite in the configuration file, allowing multiple parasites to exist at the same time.

Dealing with Assimilation Enderman

Don’t just run in punches after you die. Use better Armor and Weapons, preferably enchanted with Fire or Flame Aspects. It won’t be nerfed if the player keeps dying because they don’t prepare accordingly.

* They cannot teleport Assimilation Mobs into space they cannot traverse, but keep in mind that some Assimilation Endermans can crawl.
