Magic

This mod adds an expanded life-based magic system that includes rituals, sacrifices, summoning, alchemy, and spellcasting. In Blood Magic, you collect Life Essence by sacrificing your own health or the health of a mob which can be used to power your Blood Magic creations in your journey to becoming an Archmage. Blood Magic has even more possibilities if Technomancy and Thaumcraft 4 are installed. There are several add-ons for Blood Magic, such as Sanguimancy which focuses on automation and some forms of even black magic darker, such as Soul Corruption.

Begin

Getting started Blood Magic has changed a bit since version 1.7.10. Instead of finding Diamonds to craft a Blood Altar, you need to get Demonic Will. To get your first bit of willpower, you’ll need to craft some Soul Traps and throw them at enemies. If you’re lucky, this will trap the enemy. When killed, trapped enemies will drop a small amount of Willpower.
