Midnight is a mod being developed by Cryptic Mushroom that adds a new, mysterious and scary dimension to explore. It was a dimension of darkness; the only light comes from the various crystals and life of space.
You may be willing to travel to this dimension, although you may accidentally encounter a saboteur and be dragged into this strange and hostile world…
Minecraft 1.12.2 – 1.14.4: To get to the dimension you’ll need to find a red, glowing crack. They will spawn randomly during the night both on the ground and in caves. Rifts are often accompanied by unfriendly images called rifts.
Minecraft 1.15.2: To get to the dimension, you’ll need to find a big red pile in the underworld. At night, the portal will activate and you will be able to enter The Midnight.
Though before you step into The Midnight, remember to get ready! The Midnight does not welcome newcomers.
Issues and compatibility
If you have found any issues with our mod, you can click the “Problems” tab at the top of this page to access our issue tracker.
While you can report issues on the latest version of The Midnight, please note that our focus has shifted to the rewrite, so bugs may not be fixed in version 1.15. 2 of The Midnight which was instead included in the rewrite.
Please note that if your issue overlaps with anyone else’s, an active developer can delete your issue to remove excess clutter.
