Since becoming open source in late 2012, the Revival project started under a new team and has been active ever since.

The mod offers a variety of revived dinosaurs through bone exploration, DNA extraction, Embryo generation, and egg creation. Along with dinosaurs there are other prehistoric creatures like mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, terror birds, dodos, etc. Currently there are 50 different prehistoric creatures added by the mod!

This mod adds a variety of mobs to Minecraft, from innocent archaeological villagers to the powerful Spinosaurus. Most of them are prehistoric creatures that the player must create. Many others are hostile mobs residing near Anu, the mod boss mob.

This mod adds many types of blocks to Minecraft. These blocks can be handcrafted or occur naturally in the world. Volcanic Ash and Amber Ore can only be obtained through Creative Mode.

This mod adds many items to Minecraft.

These items drop from blocks or mobs or can be crafted by the player.

Animals to mysterious relics from ancient civilizations.

Some of these items are tools that can be uniquely enchanted for the mod.

Magic conch is only available through Creative Mode.

It contains a variety of natural spawning structures and terrains created in new worlds that can be very valuable if found. MOD structures are primarily based on ancient civilization buildings and prehistoric natural structures such as subterranean materials and plants. They are currently a small part of the mod but there are plans to expand it.

Mod achievements can be found by pressing escape in the game, clicking on ‘Achievement’ and pressing ‘Minecraft’.
