Gobber Mod

Gobber Mod Featured:

The main material of this mod is called Glob, which can be obtained in three ways.

Mining:

Gobber Ore, which drops 1-4 Globs, can be mined with any tool and randomly spawns at y=20-30.

Develop:

Globettes can be crafted into Glob Seeds and planted on vanilla soil, which can also be obtained as a rare drop from the grass. Globettes can be crafted into Globs or Glob Seeds.

Convert

Orbs can be obtained by converting hostile mobs’ life essence using the Transform block. The Converter block will generate Nether Globs. When it is used in Nether Globs and End Globs and if used in End.

Nether Gobber Ore and End Gobber Ore are obtained with:

Thread touches the regular Gobber Ore
Put it in the Nether and
Set it The End accordingly.

It will drop Nether Globs or End Globs if mined the normal way.

The next step is to create some ingots to craft.

Make:

To craft Globots, you will need:
Craft a Glob with an ingot of iron, gold, and a diamond.

This results in 3 raw Globots. For Nether Globots, use fire powder instead of diamonds. Globot ends up asking for diamond, iron and gold blocks.

Metallurgical:

Just melt a raw Globot and get a regular Globot, ready to craft.

World & Materials:

Goby ore:

Fairly rare ores found in the y=20-30 range are dropped into Orbs. The ore is lightweight so it’s easier to find in a cave.

Nether Goblin Ore:

Generated by placing a regular Gobber Ore in the Nether and Not found naturally in the worldgen. Drop Nether Globs when mining.

Finished goby ore:

Not found naturally in the worldgen, but created by placing the Nether Goblin Ore at the end. Drops End Globs when mining.

Globs/Nether Globs/End Globs:

A bit of Gobber in your hand, won’t be so good until it’s dealt with in some way.

Globette

An object dropped randomly from the grass can be crafted into an Orb

Nether Globette:

A random drop from a Nether Wart can be crafted into a Nether Globs

End Globette:

An item that randomly drops from the chorus tree can be crafted into End Globs

Glucky Block :

Between y=55-110 will drop random loot when broken and a fairly common block found.

Tools/Weapons:

Glopper: a powerful sword, right click for fire resistance
Gigger: a long pickaxe, right click for Night Vision
Govel: a shovel, right click to breathe with water
Goe: pickaxe
Gaxe: ax
Gow: a bow with immense power and infinite arrows
Ghears: a pair of scissors
Gaxel: a powerful tool that combines Gigger, Glopper and Gaxe into one powerful tool, right click for Night Vision
Gamer: traditional 3×3 hammer, very durable, right click for Night Vision

NOTE:

Late Globot versions of tools & weapons are unbreakable and a bit more expensive to build.
Three different types of armor to craft, unbreakable chainmail, and all three have special abilities. Note that the unbreakable armor set will require a total of (84) End Globots and (6) Nether Stars.

Rapid regeneration and hearts in Overworld, Nether and End

Finishing the breastplate:

Water breathing and fire resistance in the afterlife, fire resistance in the Nether, and creative flight while in the Apocalypse.

Garmor Leggings Finish:

No drop damage

Garmor boot finish:

3 block step support

Garmor repair plate:

Used to repair Garmor and Nether Garmor shards, the ingot won’t work

Travel/Travel:

Gring of the Clouds:

Provides a slow vertical gradient for 45 seconds

Gring of the Rocket:

Provides rapid vertical flight for 10 seconds

Gring of Acceleration:

Provides forward momentum in the direction you look at while high up

Gring of Leaping:

Increases jumping ability significantly when held in hand

Gring of the Traveler:

Provides great vertical ascent, forward acceleration and No Fall Damage. Aim high and hold right click for a really big boost.

Gring of Air Walking:

Create an invisible bridge for walking or slow the player to hover when falling from a very high height.

Gring of Cooling:

Turns nearby water into packed rock, Overworld lava into cobblestone, and Nether lava into Netherrack

Gring of Return:

Return the player to the bed they last slept in

Gring of Blinks:

Teleport to the position the player is viewing

Gring of the Void:

Teleports the player to The End, on the obsidian platform

Fight:

Gring of Shielding:

Grants 30 seconds of damage resistance on right click

Gring of Stealth:

Allows the player to remain undetected by hostile mobs while in hand

Gring of Dismissal:

Drive away hostile mobs, though, mobs can die from falling, oh, out of sight, out of mind

Gring of Elimination:

Kill hostile mobs in a small area around the player on right click

Gring of Grinding:

Raise mobs and take them down while holding them

Gring of Extinguishment:

Kill nearby Blazes while holding

Gring of Immunity:

Protects players from most forms of damage while in hand TURN OFF

Gaff of the Blaze:

Fireball fast, limited to 100 shots, cannot be repaired

Gaff of the Dragon:

Fireball dragon fireball, limited to 100 shots, not repairable

Gaff of the Wither:

Shoot withered skulls, limited to 100 shots, not fixable

Block Harvest/Destruction:

Gring of Briskness:

Provide support while you are breaking blocks

Gring of Arboreal Destruction:

When right clicked, will break logs and leave in a defined area (9x20x9), great for clearing a forest

Gring of Sedimentary Destruction:

Breaks rocks, dirt, grass, sand and gravel in a defined area (5x5x5) on right click, great for mining, underground bases or leveling distant lands

Gaff of Gatherin:

Harvest nearby crops and collect them in the player’s inventory on right click

Gaff of Clearing:

Clean up grass, flowers and ferns with a right click. Sneak right-clicking will make a change of clearing leaves from nearby trees.

Long range item magnet, sneak right click to turn on/off

Gring of Growth

Increases the growth rate of plants/crops within 5 blocks while holding

Gring of Love

Make animals “busy” in range when right-clicking

Rain, rain, go away, come back another day

Gring of Absolution

Remove potion effects with a right click

Gring of Breathing

Allows you to breathe underwater while holding it in your hand

Gring of Scotopic

Provide night vision, sneak right click to turn on/off

Provides some protection when burning or in lava

Provides easy access to the player’s Enderchest

Gring of Invigoration

Helps reduce mining fatigue

Gring of Antidote

Provides protection against poison, withering and a number of other afflictions

Gring of Enchantment

Gives various special enchantments to Garmor, Glopper, and Gow through the crafting table, some level enchantments are not possible in the vanilla enchantment table (e.g. Sharpness X)

Capture/drop mobs (passive/hostile)

Gaff of Slaughtering

Killing animals with the power of the Wind

Area Defense Block (Storage Zombie What?):

Tormentor, Eliminator, Repulsor, Converter and Imparter

Repulsor

One block repels hostile mobs within 64 blocks, one guard for your base

Eliminator

One block kills hostile mobs within 32 blocks

Tormentor

A block that tortures mobs within 16 blocks, great for collecting their loot

Adapter

Both a defensive block and an easy way to collect Orbs from hostile mobs within 16 blocks. It will collect Nether Globs, if placed in the Nether. If set in End, it will collect End Result.

Imparter

When placed in the Nether, this block will kill mobs in a 64 block area and only spew XP. Also works at the End, but use with caution due to Enderman’s spawn rate in the End.

Saliva soaked apples (increasing Speed and Acceleration)

Raw Globot

A prototype ingot made from Glob, Diamond, Iron Ingot and Gold Ingot in the crafting table. For the Nether Globot, use fire powder instead of diamonds. For End Globots use diamond, gold and iron blocks.

A molten version of the raw Globot, now fit for crafting purposes

Globot Bar

A hard stick used to make tools and weapons

Storage option for all your Globot, also used to create Gammer

Plank bridge

A building block that emits light

A building block that emits light

Spherical glass

A transparent glass that emits light and only allows the player to pass through it. Hold stealth to be able to walk on glass.

Crops:

Seeds of the globe

Can be crafted from Orbs and Beetroot seeds, used to grow Orb Trees. Nether and End Globs cannot be developed directly. The Netherwart farm can yield the Nether Orb and the Chorus Tree farm can yield the Last Orb.

Bridge

A Glob Seed planted will grow into a Glob Plant and drop a Globette to be harvested. It can be right clicked to harvest, leaving the plant in place. Also works with auto farmers (e.g. Farmer from Augmented Reality). A Gring of Growth speeds up the process dramatically.
