Sophisticated Backpacks Mod Features

Sophisticated Backpack is another backpack mod this time with backpacks you can place in the world, color in different color combinations, upgrade with more inventory and enhance with many functional upgrades.

Backpack in its item form

Can be accessed by pressing key (by default B)
Shown on players when placed in their slits
Curios compatibility will help you wear and display the backpack when put in the “Back” slot in a better way.

Backpacks can also be placed in the world

Shift right-click on the backpack on the ground and put it down
Once in the world players can use it the same way they use a chest
Backpacks can also have items piped in/out using a hopper or any kind of modified pipe, external storage access, etc.
Shift right-click on the backpack on the ground with bare hands to pick it up or also smash and pick it up like any other item

Backpacks can be upgraded

5 floors – gold, diamond, etherized, iron
Each floor adds more storage slots and more upgrade slots

Loot / Spawn Mob

Backpacks and some upgrades can sometimes be found in loot chests
While rare, mobs will sometimes even play a tune and can also spawn with backpacks on them sometimes with a bit of loot in them.

Configuration

You can change through the mod’s config with many things.
Inventory quantity and upgrade location of each backpack level
Number of filter slots in multiple upgrades
Range, speed, and some extras of various upgrades
If the backpack/upgrade is compatible with your modpack’s, you can disable them. By choosing in the configuration to disable recipes and hide them from the creative menu / jei
