Now, Pixelmon also adds a bunch of new items, including featured items like Poké Balls and TMs, and new resources like bauxite ore and Apricorns. Added to this are new decorative blocks such as chairs and clocks.

Most of the features in Pixelmon are trying to match the mechanics of the Pokémon game as closely as possible. Where the combat mechanics match those in the 8th generation Pokémon game.

The developer has always tried to make some aspects of Pixelmon original and different from the game like the breeding mechanics. This mechanism creates the right environment for the Pokémon to spawn.

Pixelmon does not use “random encounters” methods such as tall grass, caves to meet Pokémon. Instead, the developers create them by having them spawn naturally in the Overworld. This will be more interesting when players can engage with them.

Normal Minecraft mobs are disabled by default, not spawning when Pixelmon is installed. They can be enabled by editing Pixelmon’s configuration file.

Poké Balls can be purchased in Poké Marts. It will spawn in towns in exchange for PokéDollars, just like in the game. Of course, Poké Balls can also be crafted, if the player has 2 items, Aprcorns, and iron.

Craft some items.

Most of the items such as Potions, held items, and TMs are obtained from various sources:

PokéLoot Chests: Like in the Pokémon game, this section serves the same purpose as Poké Balls of being filled with items.
Defeat Boss Pokémon: Mega Evolved Wild Pokémon will always be several levels stronger than the player’s Pokémon.
Pickup Ability: Collect items similar to those in the Pokémon game.
Poké Marts: Where Potions and TMs can be sold.

Pixelmon is designed so that players and servers can choose and create their own goals. This means completing the Pokédex, and winning player-versus-player battles. In addition, the player can also choose another target to complete the mission.

This mod has no fixed progress of Gyms in Pixelmon. Servers can choose to implement this feature only by using NPC Trainers and players as Gym Heads, Badges included in Pixelmon if the server wants to use them as achievement marks.
