About Potion Core mod
As you know, the potion system in Minecraft is very rich. It is diverse with many ways of combining and processing using materials obtained from many different sources. It is also undeniable that they will play an important role in enhancing your gaming experience.
To inherit those advantages, this mod added to Minecraft some effects for the purpose of using them in other mods. After installing this mod, you will enter a world of potion effects. It will be interesting to approach all the potions and their effects.
According to the creator of the mod, players cannot gain all potions except for the creative menu in the mod. It offers recipes with several brewing mechanics for you to explore.
Note that this is a core mod, you won’t be able to fix its potion effect in the usual way. However, that’s not all, you can still do this thanks to Creative mods. Through it, you will have access to new effects like Cure, Dispel, Inversion.

- Slowfall – Slows your fall and prevents some fall damage at level 1 and all fall damage at level 2.
- Levitation – Forces you to float upward – similar to the 1.9 potions.
- Trueshot – Increases projectile damage (like how strength increases melee damage).
- Klutz – Decreases projectile damage (like how weakening melee damage).
- Vulnerability – Increases all damage to you (like how resistance discussed all damage to you).
- Recoil – Reflects a portion of damage back to the attacker.
- Drowning – This makes you only breathe underwater.
- Weight – Negative jump boost; makes it so you can’t jump up a full block.
- Step Up – Increases your step height so you can step up a full block.
- Reach – Increases your reach distance.
- Climbing – Let’s you climb walls like spiders.
- Corrosion – Damages your armor and held item (except for gold items/armor).
- Repairing – Repairs your armor and held item.
- Extension – Prevents one other potion on you from ticking down per level. Essentially doubles the length of another potion on you.
- Solid Core – Gives you knockback resistance.
- Flight – Let’s you fly like in creative mode.
- Random Teleport – Teleports you to a nearby location.
- Surface Teleport – Teleports you to the top surface block.
- Spawn Teleport – Teleports you to your spawn point if you stand still with it for 10 seconds.
- Combos – Sets you on fire.
- Lightning – Strikes you with lightning.
- Explosion – Explodes you.
- Burst – Creates an explosion at your position that doesn’t hurt you (only your enemies), and doesn’t do block damage.
- Revival – If you die with this effect, you will revive with 2 hearts per level.
- Launch – Shoots you up into the air.
- Love – Causes breedable entities to breed with each other.
- Disorganization – Shuffles your inventory
- Spinning – Causes you to spin uncontrollably
- Perplexity – Reverses your controls so forwards are backward, sneak is jump, etc.
It also changes the way a few vanilla potions work:
- Blindness – Now the fog comes closer per level (making you more blind). And it also affects mobs, so they won’t attack you unless you are close to them.
- Invisibility – Fixes invisibility so like before mobs won’t aggro to you with it on you unless you are holding items or wearing armor. The distance they can notice you at increases with each piece of armor worn and item held.
- Haste – Makes it so haste makes you attack faster.
- Mining Fatigue – Makes it so mining fatigue makes you attack slower.
Please note that you can enable/disable/modify most settings in the config files.
Potion Core is really an interesting mod that provides us with a lot of new and interesting items. It will improve your life and make the effect of the vanilla pot better. Therefore, there is no reason for you to ignore this mod.

How to install:
Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
Locate the minecraft application folder.
- Open Run from the start menu.
- Type %appdata%, click Run.
Input where Potion Core Mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods Potion Core Mod folder.
When you open Minecraft, you see the mod is installed when click the button mods
