Aquamirae Mod Feature:

Oceans that were once endless, waters raised from the depths by strong winds, oceans rowed by brave travelers and fearsome fleets of pirates, are now chained in ice and snow.

Frozen in time… terrible creatures crawled out of the abyss into daylight and at the same time the ship of the unlucky was frozen in the merciless ice. Through the blizzard, only the rare sounds of the whistles of those still hoping for rescue could be heard. What could transform the once-unregulated ocean so drastically?

Ice Maze:

Ice location with unique generation. The ocean freezes under the ice and the Maze above the surface.
Creates in the vanilla Deep Frozen Ocean biome, making it compatible with all world generator mods.
Lots of different sized structures to survive.
Unique surroundings. Background sounds, music and particles.

Items

Shell Horn:

An item used to summon the Ghost of Captain Cornelia. Can be found on Ships.
Will only work if the following conditions are met: nearby surface accessible water and biome from the #aquamirae:ice_maze tag.

Frozen Key:

An item used to open an Ice Chest. Dropped when killing Captain Cornelia’s Ghost.

Logbooks:

The diary contains lore entries that explain the events taking place in the biome. There are 3 logs in total, located on the Ship, in the Outpost and in the Shelter.

Scroll of the Dead Sea:

An item with a random effect can reward you with a powerful summoner or a valuable item, or cause trouble or kill you.

Pouches:

Item with random loot. Contains armor shards with a unique base bonus.

Echoes of the ship graveyard:

An item that personifies the essence of the Ice Maze. Can be used to repair Aquamirae weapons and most armor.

There are many sources. Mainly dropped from strong mobs and can also be contained in chests in structures.
Holding the Echo in your hand, you will hear the surroundings of the Ice Maze.

Runes of the storm:

The most valuable item in Aquamirae. Guaranteed to appear in a Frozen Chest.
Can be fitted to any weapon and permanently increase its damage by 33% in cold biomes.
Runes from different mods can be used to access the final dimension of the future Obscuria Collection.

Materials

Fin

Common crafting ingredients. Drops from Maws and Anglerfishes.

Escape

Common crafting ingredients. Drops from Anglerfishes.

Angler Fang

Common crafting ingredients. Drops from Anglerfishes.

Sharp bones

Obtained by eating Raw Spike and Cooked Spike.
It is also edible, but you will take some damage.

Oxygen Tank

An item used to craft a Three-Pinth Suit.

Deep Amethyst

Common crafting ingredients. Drops from the Mother of the Labyrinth.

Aquamirae Food

Raw Spinefish

Regular food can be obtained from Spinfish.
Once consumed, you will receive Sharp Bones.

Cooked Spinefish

Regular food can be obtained from Spinfish.
Once consumed, you will receive Sharp Bones.

Sea Casserole

Synthetic foods can be obtained through crafting.
Increases damage and reduces skill cooldown.

Sea Stew

Synthetic foods can be obtained through crafting.
Increases damage and magic power.

Poseidon’s Breakfast

Improved version of Sea Stew.
Significantly increase skill power and reduce skill cooldown.

Aquamirae Armor

The Aquamirae device has several special mechanisms:

First, it implements Classes from the obscure API. Class armor and weapons enhance each other, making it more efficient to use an item of the same class.

Second, armor and weapons have unique abilities that can also be enhanced with class bonuses.

Third, each armor type has the ability to sell sets and full sets. You can combine the abilities of half a set by wearing 2 pieces of 2 different types of armor.

Terrible Armor

The first armor in the mod. There are two special defensive abilities.

Three-Bolt Armor

Armor allows you to dive underwater. Provides oxygen and protects against freezing.
The helmet of this set cannot be crafted. It can be obtained from Ghost of Captain Cornelia with a 100% chance.

Abyssal Armor

The most expensive armor to craft. There are three special defensive abilities.
There are two helmet options. Different helmets offer different full capabilities. It is not possible to activate both abilities at the same time.

Aquamirae Weapon

The Aquamirae device has several special mechanisms:

Terrible Sword

A situational weapon capable of dealing massive damage in one hit.
Has high crit damage and crit chance.
Deals 1 damage to you if the attack fails to kill the target. Skip the armor.

Fin Cutter

The more you suffer, the worse the revenge will be.
Increases damage from each missing heart container.

Poisoned Blade

A simple weapon that can poison the target.

Remnant’s Saber

A weapon made from the remains of the Thornfish.
Deals double damage underwater.

Divider

A weapon capable of quickly dealing heavy damage to enemies with abundant health.
Temporarily reduces target’s max health by a percentage per hit.

Whisper of the Abyss

A weapon capable of dealing significant damage to targets with high armor.
Temporarily reduces target’s armor by a percentage per hit.

Dagger of Greed

Cursed Weapons Cause Violence…
When attacking Villagers and Illagers, they will drop emeralds.
When attacking a Villager, there is a chance to get the Bad Omen effect.
Cannot be repaired by any means, including enchantments.
There is no crafting recipe, can only be obtained from the Ice Maze chest.

Poison Chakra

Labyrinth rose

Coral spear:

Weapon carried by the Ghost of Captain Cornelia. No one in the Ice Labyrinth dared argue with the owner of this weapon.

Double damage to all creatures in the Ice Maze.
This ability only applies to the actual creatures of the Ice Labyrinth. Just being in a biome is not enough.
There is a small drop chance from Ghost of Captain Cornelia.
There is no crafting recipe.

Sweet spear

The festival weapon replaces the Coral Lance in December through January.
This is an edible weapon.
Eating does not consume items, but only reduces the durability of the item.
Has the same drop chance as Coral Lance.
There is no crafting recipe.

World

Ice Maze

The Ice Maze is a giant cluster of structures that cover the surface of the Deep Freezing Ocean biome. The structures form a layer of ice at sea level, separating the underwater part of the biome.

Surface

The surface of the biome contains various sized structures ranging from ornamental rocks and loot camps to large important buildings.

It’s safe here during the day.
At night, many aggressive Maws spawn here. you can sometimes find Tortured Souls wandering and Golden Moths flying in the ice dome.
The only plant you can find here is Wisteria Niveis.
If the Mother of the Maze appears nearby, you’ll see the following chat message: “You feel vibrations under the ice…”.

Underwater:

A huge space between the ice and the seabed. It does not have a special structure, however, only here can some species of plants and creatures be found.

The water will freeze you if you try to get down here without the Triple Armor.
Everywhere you can find Oxygelium and Elodea.
Spiny Fish and Fishing Fish appear here at any time.
When an Anglerfish spawns, there is a 0.5% chance that the Mother of the Maze will spawn with it.

Ship

An ice-covered ship with looters and whitewashers on board. Lie on the surface.

Killing bandits in the captain’s cabin will give you a Seashell Horn. The item is in the mob’s loot table and cannot be seen in the hand.
When incarcerated, you can find some villagers locked in cells.
You can find the Dagger of Greed in the chest with a small chance.
The diary is located in the captain’s cabin.

Outpost:

The giant tower was built from ship parts. There are many looters and whitewashers inside. Lie on the surface.

Does not contain important items.
The log is placed at the bow of the ship

Shelter

The last and largest structure. The shelter is underground, but can be reached through a long “well” located on the Surface.

That’s the only place where Eels spawn. Each shelter has only one eel.
Many Tortured Souls wandered near the shelter.
In addition to looters and whitewashers, there’s an Evoker inside.
On the top floor you can find a Frozen Chest.
The diary is in the room with the main entrance strewn with crates.

Block

Frozen Chest

Aquamirae’s ultimate treasure. Among other valuables, it contains the Rune of the Storm and the Echo of the Ship

Graveyard.
Can only be opened with Frozen Key.
Unbreakable until you open it.
May contain Dagger of Greed and Collectibles.

Collectible Paintings

Decorative blocks depicting Aquamirae locations and creatures. There are 4 different pictures in total.

luminescent lamp

Light source and decoration. Can be placed underwater.

luminescent bubble

A light source can be placed floating. Used to create a path underwater, as it increases the swimming speed of all surrounding players.

Plants

Wisteria Niveis:

The shrub is 2 blocks in size, usually growing on the surface:

Used to craft Green Dye.
Can be transplanted.
Naturally generated instances also drop Sticks and Snowballs.

Oxygelium:

The juniper tree, usually grows under water. Contains oxygen in its buds:

When in contact with the bud, you will receive the Underwater Breath effect for a short time. Effect stacks.
It is not a regenerative plant and will not grow taller when transplanted. You can make it taller yourself.
After the buds die, some time later they will bloom again.
Can be transplanted.
Can be up to 10 blocks tall.
Used to craft Food and Oxygen Tanks.
There is a small chance that instead of the usual shoots, a cyan bud will grow. Such buds will reduce experience instead of the Underwater Breath effect.
Excessive consumption of buds can cause nausea and auditory hallucinations.

Elodea:

Monolithic plants that grow under water:
Usually grows near Oxygelium.
Used to make Cyan Dye.
Can be transplanted.

Aquamirae Creatures

Golden Moth

A creature around that spawns at night on the Surface. Prefers spawning in ice domes.
/summon aquamirae:Golden_moth

Passive, does not react to damage.
Drop some nuggets/gold bars.
Can be stored in a vanilla glass bottle for extra decoration.

Spinefish

A common fish that spawns in the aquatic school.
/summon aquamirae:spinefish

Anglerfish do not attack spiny fish due to their coloration like the skeleton of a fish.
Drops Live Spinfish.
After eating backbone fish, you will get Sharp Bones.

Maw

A ferocious terrestrial fish-like creature that spawns at night on the Surface.
/summon aquamirae:maw

Maw jumps on its target to deal damage.
Fin Drops.
Rarely drops Slimeball.

Anglerfish

Aggressive creatures spawn underwater at any time.
/summon aquamirae:fishing fish

It is more common during the day, as at night it is more likely to be replaced by spawning Maws.
When spawned, it has a 0.5% chance to also spawn a nearby Maze Mother.
Can jump to the ground when trying to attack you.
The anglerfish cannot move on land and lies on its side, but even so, it does not suffocate without water.

Tortured soul

The creature looks like an icy whitewasher. Sometimes spawns on the Surface at night. Spawn in large numbers in the Shelter.

When following a target, it can become invisible and gain movement speed for a short time.
During stealth, its attacks deal extra damage and apply Blinding.

Eel

A large fixed mob spawns in the Shelter. Has a large amount of health and is a small boss.

When dropped from Eel, Echo of the Ship Graveyard is guaranteed.
The eel periodically performs a series of 1-3 attacks if its target is close enough.
Eel heals based on damage dealt.
Eels can emit a powerful roar that knocks off targets.
Eels cannot move by push or liquid.
Eels can move by burrowing into the ground and then crawling out.

Mother of the labyrinth

A giant stingray-like creature with a cluster of amethysts on its back. It is a small boss and can appear underwater.
/summon aquamirae:maze_mother

When Mother spawns, all nearby players will receive the following chat message: “You feel vibrations under the ice…”.
Mother will attempt to break the ice below the target with its amethyst growth.
As a source of Abyssal Amethyst.
Mother does not register to lay her own eggs. Instead, it has a 0.5% chance of spawning with Anglerfish.

Ghost of Captain Cornelia

The main boss Aquamirae. Can be summoned with Shell Horn. Cornelia is the sole source of the Three-Pinth Helmet, Coral Spear, and Sweet Spear.
/summon aquamirae:captain_cornelia

When spawning, gain the Ascension effect for a short time.
When Cornelia has the levitation effect, she causes all creatures in the area with less than 100 health to orbit around her.
There is no delay between attacks if staying close to the target or levitating.
When health drops below 20%, Cornelia regenerates completely, taking the effect of Soaring and summoning three Poison Chakras. This ability can only be used twice.
When health drops below 5%, Cornelia quickly restores health to 5-7%. She cannot use this ability if she has the Weakness effect.
It’s possible to finish off Cornelia without the weak potion, but to do this you need to deal damage equal to 5% of her maximum health once. This can be easily solved with the Terrible Sword.
Cornelia can pull the target towards herself or dash towards the target herself. This usually happens as the distance between Cornelia and the target increases.
Cornelia completely ignores ranged attack damage.
Cornelia’s base damage is 1, but she takes extra damage when using weapons. Her typical weapon’s bonus damage is 14.
When fighting Cornelia, you should use a shield as she can deal a lot of damage in a short time (e.g. when she has the levitation effect).
Cornelia has a unique music theme and boss bar design.
