The name of this Cosmetic mod sounds hard a bit to read. However, you can pronounce it like this “Hwhy-la”, which is the same as “Coo-Hwhip”. It is made for both Forge and Fabric, so you can install it on the platform you are using.
If you are on version 1.14 and above, you should download the appropriately tagged file for the loader that you are utilizing.
Features of the mod:
- You can use Numpad 3 and Numpad 4 for looking up the recipes of blocks in the in-game world in JEI. Make sure you install JEI for this.
- The colors and text formatting of the tooltip can be modified. To modify them, you can open the config file in the game, access the “Waila” options screen, then choose “Format content”.
- The mod provides tooltip handlers. If they come with problems, you can run the command like “/dumphandlers”. This command allows you to create a text file that has registered handlers. Besides, it also has the types they are registered to.
- On version 1.12, you can toggle the Narrator for the tooltip. This utilizes the text-to-speech library of the system so you will know what you are looking at.
- You can disable the item that is shown in the tooltip if you think it is redundant.

How to install:
Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
Locate the Minecraft application folder.
- Open Run from the start menu.
- Type %appdata%, and click Run.
Input where Hwyla Mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods folder.
