Discover a new guide for Immersive Vehicles Mod Wiki. Formerly Transport Simulator Mod adds planes and cars with realistic physics. Realistic physics:

Like really really. Planes take off like real airplanes, running out of fuel doesn’t make you fall like a rock and ground physics is more than just a vehicle sliding on ice. Aircraft flight takes into account speed, altitude, angle of attack, weight, engine life, propeller pitch, etc. Vehicles are affected by speed, slippery surfaces, blown tires and even how many wheels hit the ground.

Support joystick and mouse:

Want to use that dusty old flying stick in Minecraft? Well now you can! Want to turn an IV into a Gran Turismo with a steering wheel? Also an option. IV gives you complete control of any vehicle using any controller that is recognized as a joystick. If you’re one of those people who think it’s a sin to play Minecraft with a controller, but still want more responsiveness than keyboard controls, try the built-in mouse hook system. It’s not perfect, but it gives you a familiar flight experience if you’ve used Flan’s or MCHeli.

In-game instructions:

No one wants to have to leave Minecraft to search for something on the wiki. On this note, IV is equipped with a detailed instruction book on how everything works in the mod. From how to build your first car, to the specifics of how to care for your engine and why your engine is giving off black smoke, the manual is the ultimate guide to IVs. Please read it, as you may learn something.

Fully customizable:

Maybe you want a plane to fly you and your friend from your main base to a new one. Maybe you want to transport ore in the air to avoid the vines blowing up all your beautiful things. IV understands and comes with the ability to choose whether to equip seats or chests for your vehicle, allowing for a variety of manual combinations. Don’t try putting a chest on the pilot’s seat. That doesn’t work well…

Based on the package:

Instead of having everything built-in and forcing you to wait for updates to get new media, IV lets you expand your media selection through content bundles. We recommend the official content pack, however other packages or even your own creations are welcome! If you’re familiar with Flan’s package system, you should be familiar with IV’s.

Working gauges:

IV is proud to offer speed and vehicle enthusiasts the widest selection of gauges available on the custom bike market. From altimeters to show height, to heading indicators to show direction, you’ll wonder why you need a debug screen to navigate. There are even indicators that tell you the engine oil temperature and pressure and the current voltage of the electrical system. Now you’ll never have to wonder if an arrow shot at you does any damage!

True light:

Aiming for efficiency and making things eye-catching, IV cars are equipped with real lights. No more reliance on constant chunk updates and dynamic lights, as well as their TPS-sapping. Plane IV uses true OpenGL fusion to create realistic lighting effects that brighten up the world around you.

Disclaimer:

IV cannot be held responsible for mobs causing material harm and bypassing lights or individuals to you. Please contact your nearest armory to see if True Lighting is right for you.

Inter-Mod support:

Instead of generating a different fuel for the vehicle or forcing you to download a mod as a fuel dependency, IV chose to let you determine what the fuel is. By default, Lava can be used to run engines, but IVs include the ability to use any liquid from any mod as valid fuel. You can also use pipes to refill the fuel pump in the mod, allowing you to have a never-ending stream of fuel to supply your vehicle.

Extended configuration:

Nearly everything in MTS is configurable. From the crafting materials needed to build a vehicle, to the choice of rendering of the vehicle’s interior glass. Forge OreDict is also fully supported, ensuring maximum compatibility with other mods.

Does not include any vehicles by default for this mod! If you get a warning message about missing packages, please download one of the good ones linked in the Media Packages section below!
