DRP: Global Data Pack Mod Wiki is a small utility mod for mod pack creators in 1.13+. It changes the copying of data packs into every world separately.
DRP: Global Data Pack Mod
It alters that by adding the possibility to define global Data- & Resourcepacks.
Besides, you can select whether they are obligatory or optional. (Only in newer versions).
How to use
- 1.13
- In 1.13, you can generate a new folder ‘global_data_pack’, and place your data packs in there. Data packs must be .zip files.
- 1.14-1.15
- You can form a folder: ‘global_data_packs’. Data packs can be zip files or normal folders.
- 1.16+ (mod version 1.10+)
- Added a new config file ‘global_data_and_resourcepacks.toml’. You can list folders that are treated as the ‘global_data_packs’ folder from old releases.
- You can add resourcepacks in that method.
- It’s feasible to specify whether datapacks are required or optional.
- The default config should own good enough instances for how to implement that.
- Finally, you can add packs directly. Please add the .zip file extension if you so!
DRP – Global Data Pack is a server utility mod. It’s unessential to copy datapacks into every world individually.
