The process of pumping liquids in Minecraft can be boring and time-consuming if you apply the traditional method. This can kill the attraction if not careful. However, through this mod, you can definitely overcome this challenge.
All it gives the game is a single pumpable block. By default, the pump will not require power. However, you can configure the existing tool to deploy the RF source in the configuration.
Besides, the block that this mod brings is also capable of absorbing water, lava, and liquids from other mods.
When combining an electric mod or a modpack that includes an energy block with a thermal fluid like lava or a water block to create steam engine power, this mod is very useful.
It can suck liquid from very far away without any bucket. As mentioned above, you can combine Ranged Pumps Mod with other machines. Furthermore, it requires a Redstone signal which will help to create a compact structure.
How to use Ranged Pumps mod?
- Put the pump down, apply the Redstone signal and it should work.
- By default, the pump does not require power. But you can configure the pump to use RF energy in the configuration.
- The size of the pump’s internal tank is 32 buckets by default. You can increase or decrease this size in the configuration.
- The pump will stop running if the internal tank is full.
- Right-click on the pump to see what it is doing and if it is running.
- It will pump liquid in a rectangular area 1 block below the pump. Please note that you can specify the size of this rectangular area in the configuration.
- The pump will also replace any liquid with ice by default. You can also turn it off in the configuration.
- The default range in the configuration is 128 blocks. That means it will search 64 blocks in any direction of the pump.
- The pump will sweep the liquid in a certain direction. It is from top left to bottom right or from the pump to foundation vertically (Y)
- Note that the mod doesn’t chunk load pumps.
- You should use a Chunkloading Ward from Extra Utilities with a few lava generators on top of the pump.
- You have to place the lava generators higher than the pump. This helps the pump won’t suck up the lava for power generation.
Although Ranged Pumps Mod looks simple, it is very effective to deliver content to the address you want. Therefore, there is no reason for you to ignore this mod.

How to install:
Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
Locate the minecraft application folder.
- Open Run from the start menu.
- Type %appdata%, click Run.
Input where Ranged Pumps Mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods Ranged Pumps Mod folder.
When you open Minecraft, you see the mod is installed when click the button mods
