Thaumcraft Mod

Discover a new guide for Thaumcraft Mod Wiki. Thaumcraft Mod allows you to cast magic around you in the form of “vis” (pronounced “Veece”) to perform various quests and create amazing items. This mod adds a bunch of magic complex blocks and items to your game. Although Thaumonomicon is the “wiki” in the game, it doesn’t include everything.

Magic… something that gives a certain command to create works that are strange, meaningful to perceive and to amaze people. Magic is the ability of a magician to create miracles. A practitioner of magic is a magician, magician or miracle worker.

This is exactly the purpose of this mod – draw magic from physical objects in the form of Essentia and reshape it to perform miracles

Mod type:

Thaumcraft Mod Feature

It has different versions. The latest version is Thaumcraft 6. This version has different stages and steps that you will have to follow to continue developing in the mod.

At each stage you will have different features:

Observation: fundamentals
Thaumometer: it will give you recipes
Total knowledge

Like previous versions of Thaumcraft “vis” is a measure of the magical energy present in the block.

How to get started with Thaumcraft Mod

The first thing you have to do is find the crystal. There are six types:

aer
terra
ignis
aqua
order
perdition

Once you’ve found at least one of each type, get the map. With these crystals you will create Salis Mundus.

Salis Mundus can be sprinkled on the crafting table. When you do this, you will create a Thaumonomicon.

Tutorials in Thaumcraft.

You will receive a book titled “Strange Dreams”, which is a guide that tells you what to do to continue using this Thaumcraft mod.

Through the mod you will create some things like gauges.

Generation Thaumcraft 6 Mod

Its flora is:

Big tree

They are very tall and have bunches of leaves.

Silver tree

They are known for their light green leaves and white logs. They can be found in the Magic Forest and other biomes with the exception of the Tundra and Dessert.

Shimmering leaves

It can be converted to quicksilver.

Coal pearls

It is a flower that gives little light. It can be converted into flammable powder.

Vishroom room

They can be found in magical forests

Its ores are:

Air crystals
Fire crystals
earth crystals
Water crystals
Order crystals
Entropy Crystals
flux crystal
Amber bearing stone
It can be found deep underground or in the mountains.

Cinnabar ore

It can be found deep underground or in the mountains.

Quartz Ore

Its biome is:

Strange biomes
Magical forest

This mod adds a new biome to the Minecraft world. All are green. This is where you’ll find the vishrooms, big trees, and silverwoods. You will also find creatures called pech that are very friendly and will pick up items you drop.

Ordo
Perditio

Compatible mods/add-ons

These are mods that use APIs or other means to integrate or add content to Thaumcraft. More importantly they do so without breaking the balance in my mods (like that).

A friendly request to the addon makers:
I love all the recently created add-ons but I have some requirements.

Don’t go too crazy when adding new aspects. If yes, please PM me. If it’s something obvious or useful beyond your add-on, I might add it to vanilla TC.

More than a research tab

Try and keep your own studies on your own tab
Please don’t move my research around. You can make a copy if you want to show dependencies on your tab, but the research must stay in its original location.
Please do not change any of my recipes. If you feel it’s necessary for your addon’s balance, please PM me. Partly to discuss whether the change is necessary, but mainly because it could actually be a change that should be in pure TC.
Finally, I noticed some add-ons that add items from TC 3 and earlier. I don’t have a problem with that, so take it easy. However, some of them I was planning to add myself. A lot of the content of TC 2 was never included in TC 3 just because of time constraints. So don’t cry to me if and when I do.
