Discover a new guide for Adventure Backpack Mod Wiki. Adventure Backpack Mod adds a bunch of awesome backpacks full of useful stuff to the game to aid you in your travels. Packs let you craft on the go, and sleep anywhere with a stowed sleeping bag, liquid tank, and of course extra storage space. You can put on the backpack by shift + left click on the backpack while it is on the ground. Or you can just keep it on the ground like a chest.

Mod Adventure Backpack

There are some backpacks created by mixing plant or mob items. Three will be filled with useful liquids depending on what you desire. Cactus Backpacks will fill the tank with water when it rains or if you soak in water with it. The melon backpack will be filled with melon juice under the same conditions. And cow backpacks are filled with milk if you keep a steady supply of wheat in its inventory. These are all great things to keep you hydrated.

There are some that help you just by wearing them. Ink backpacks allow you to:

Breathe and see underwater
Bat backpack
Found in caves,
Allows you to see through in the dark
Chicken backpacks will often drop an egg.

You’re better off pausing your adventure, especially if you’re running low on supplies in a deserted area at night.

The tool slot in the backpack makes it easy to switch tools in hand. If you use the scroll wheel on your mouse, this tool will cycle from what you have in your backpack’s tool slot. This gives you the option to minimize the number of tools you carry around in your main bar.

All backpacks have a crafting table that can be used while wearing or if you put it down. This is great if you need one on the go and don’t want to go through the trouble of making one out of the surrounding trees.

Adventure Backpack upgrades and adds 60 new backpacks with original designs, abilities and they can hold liquids!

They will:

Keep your luggage when you die
Impervious to lava and fire

At the same time there are some neat possibilities:

With tools tucked away in the green slots of the backpack, you can easily rotate the tool in your hand if you sneak and roll the mouse wheel.
You can craft a Faucet that allows you to suck and spill liquid in the world.
This is still under development, some backpacks have special abilities so more will be added over time.
They have also fabricated chairs!
You can deploy the sleeping bag from your backpack to sleep anywhere!
Tools in special tool slots show up on the backpack.
The liquid will render inside the tank. Rendering depends on the quantity.
The spout allows you to drink what’s in the container in your backpack, to a variety of effects.
This mod also adds the following:
Piston running shoes, to jump higher and run faster.
A luxury Fedora. Looks cool.
The right hat will make you look almost like the famous adventurer Harrison Jones! *
Machete, to cross dense forests faster.
Delicious melon juice.

To open the backpack’s inventory while wearing, press CANCEL
To switch the container to which the faucet is attached, press N while holding it
To switch faucet, sneak and mousewheel modes.
