Custom Starter Gear Mod lets you manage the correct items that you want to start with. It applies to when you log in to Minecraft for the first time.
This is a Server Utility mod. It means you put the mod on the server side in the game. By using the mod, you can control the accurate items that you get started with upon the first time logging into the game.
Custom Starter Gear Wiki:
- Blocks, manuals, or other items provided by other mods are eliminated. If you want to use these items, you can attach them through this mod.
- Put items back into the same slots with the help of armor and off-hand.
- Item NBT data is supported.
- You run a command with the items you want in your inventory to configure.
- Although it functions as a server-side mod, it can still function in singleplayer.
- It supports kits that you can utilize for some things such as quest maps. This probably needs a discrepant starting inventory for every quest.
How to use it:
- Place the items you want to start with into your inventory.
- After that, you run the command “/csg_config set” so as to save your inventory.
- Upon your first time logging in, they will obtain a correct copy of your inventory.
- Make sure your inventory is empty prior to invoking the commands because it overwrites your inventory.
This mod is usable in any modpacks.

How to install:
Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
Locate the minecraft application folder.
- Open Run from the start menu.
- Type %appdata%, click Run.
Input where Custom Starter Gear Mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods Custom Starter Gear Mod folder.
When you open Minecraft, you see the mod is installed when click the button mods
