Discover a new guide for Just Enough Resources Mod Wiki. Just Enough Resources Mod adds integrated Just Enough Items (JEI) for world resources such as ores and dropped mobs. To switch DIY settings in the game by adding world-gen.json to the JER config directory, you can create your own Ore distributions.
You can even use /profile to create a world-gen-scan.json that will get distributions from a generated world so you don’t have to guess.
These features are quite advanced and recommended only for pack makers or experienced players. This mod is the successor of patch technology developed from Not Enough Resources.

Profile not yet deployed for 1.15+
To profile first use /jer_profile [number of chunks] [all] to generate a world-gen-scan.json, then you will get distributions from a generated world, you don’t need to guess.
- These features are quite advanced
- Recommended only for pack makers or experienced players.
- Requires a game restart to start using the newly configured data.
Blacklist certain blocks from being saved during scanning by adding them to a file named ‘scan-blacklist.txt’ in the JER configuration directory.
This file must contain one entry per line and will match the written entries to the block state string (see minecraft setblock command). It will start with match, so ‘minecraft:’ will match any block from Minecraft.
By:
- Add world-gen.json to the JER config directory
- Switch DIY installation,
- You can use your own ore distributions.
