Hopper Ducts Mod adds ducts that can attach to hoppers to send items in any direction. It also supplements Grated Hoppers that are good at filtering items.
Hopper Ducts Mod Wiki?
It’s a straightforward-to-use mod. While it drops new additions into the game, you should know that Hoppers cannot transport items upward.
Differences between a hopper and a duct
Ducts can send items into inventories above them.
Ducts will not pull objects from inventories above them.
Ducts have a single inventory slot.
Ducts can move in another direction after setting down by hitting them with a stick.
Left-click with the stick to cycle through every possible direction. Right-click with it to cycle in reverse.
You can shift-left-click with the stick to reverse if you want.
If in creative mode, right-clicking will be valid because left-clicking breaks blocks.
Ducts auto-orient to reset ducts or hoppers. Keep the sneak key while placing to turn off that behavior.
Ducts own smaller hitboxes to make it simpler to approach blocks behind them.
How a Grated Hopper works
Grated Hoppers consist of an extra row of items in their interface. That is the filer inventory.
Only items matching that fit the row are able to access the hopper from a chest, hopper, or duct.
The Grated Hopper will eject these special items into its station. Eventually, it stops a hopper beneath it from clearing items fitting the filter.
You can insert something into the Grated Hopper from the sides and bottom that are not matching the filter. In other words, you can add everything to that hopper.
After ejecting, the regular hopper or Grated Hopper beneath it will pull out the items. These aren’t suitable for the filter. So, they can move to another location.
Crafting recipes
Hopper Ducts are a reduced version of the hopper recipe.
Grated Hoppers are a shapeless recipe.
How to run it
You should have at least Minecraft 1.6.2 with Forge 804 or greater. It consumes SRG. Hence, it will start on future versions of Minecraft. The owner tested it to make it compatible with 1.6.4.
Because of requests, the author has backported the mod to 1.5.2. He released that version so it was workable for Forge 738. Versions for 1.5.2 may not get updated with the newest release for 1.6.x.

How to install:
Make sure you have already installed Minecraft Forge.
Locate the minecraft application folder.
- Open Run from the start menu.
- Type %appdata%, click Run.
Input where Hopper Ducts Mod you have just downloaded (.jar file) into the Mods Hopper Ducts Mod folder.
When you open Minecraft, you see the mod is installed when click the button mods
