Binnie’s Mods wiki is a set of mods designed to expand the Forest mod. It has just expanded the aspect of bee and tree breeding by adding many new species with diverse products, along with new features such as fully hybridized flowers and genetic manipulation.
Binnie’s Mods is currently in pre-release for Minecraft 1.7.10. The latest version can be obtained here.
Sub-title Bees
Extra Bees expands on beekeeping Forestry by adding 107 new bee species to forestry. These bees include a wide range of different effects and products, giving you the ability to produce everything from dyes to rare metal dust entirely from bees. It also complements the Apiarist Database, a tool for tracking discovered species, mutations, and traits. There are also new ingredients that improve and streamline bee production.
Title Sub-Tree
Extra Trees both increase the number of tree species and add many new aesthetic uses. There are 96 new tree species, such as bananas, Brazil nuts and Douglas fir. This comes with a variety of new fruits as well as 35 new wooden planks. Extra Trees allow these to be combined, as well as Forestry and vanilla boards, to create different doors, gates and fence designs. Woodworkers allow planks to be combined to create patterned bricks, allowing you to build beautiful wooden floors, and the same can be done with stained glass. A group of machines like breweries and distilleries allow you to use the fruit you grow to make a variety of wines, ciders and spirits.
Botany Title
Botany adds a whole new breeding system to Forestry: flowers. There are 46 different species that can be bred, including vanilla flowers and new ones like Fuschia and Lilies. Flower colors can be selectively transferred and bred, meaning that each flower can be one of 80 different colors. These new flowers can be propagated manually in small gardens using fly and fertilizer, with careful care to maintain the desired pH or humidity, or grown on a large scale. in forestry farms.
Genetic title
Genetics is for those who want to move away from conventional breeding and want to enter the field of genetic manipulation. Here, genes can be isolated, sequenced and then transplanted back into different species, making it easy to obtain the perfect genome. Bees, trees, butterflies and flowers can all be crafted in this way. They can also be adapted to different environments to build tolerance to hostile climates.
