About Fairy Lights Mod Wiki

The hanging lights that you receive are Fairy Lights. They can introduce to you every combination of six light variants. Each of these versions will go with one of the 16 dye colors.

How to craft

To craft a hanging light, it’s essential to craft the light.

Lights have different variants as well, including:

Fairy light
Heart light
Moon light
Star light
Paper lantern
Orb lantern
Flower light
Candle lantern
Oil lantern
Snowflake light
Icicle light
Meteor light
Spooky light
Spider light
Ghost light
Jack o’lantern
Skull light
Witch light

Craft fairy lights by using a horizontal combination of iron ingot, string or stick, iron ingot, with any blend of lights. It’s useful to specify a pattern (left-right, top-down).

If including glowstone, the hanging light will twinkle.

If using string, the connection will be slack.

If controlling a stick, the connection will be straight.

The hanging lights will only display the first four light colors. However, most craftable lights are eight when putting a hanging light item in a crafting table with 8 lights.

It’s not hard to seek light recipes where the red dye in the recipes can be any dye.

How to use

Here is the guide showing you the way to utilize Fairy Lights.

Right-click the hanging lights, garland, or bunting on the side of a block, or an active fastener. You can set down a fastener.

Next, you’ll connect to the fastener.

Afterward, right-click on another side of a block, or a working fastener. You’ll finish the connection. The maximum length of a fairy light strand is 32 blocks.

The slack of hanging lights, garland, or bunting can increase when you right-click it with string. Reduce its slack by right-clicking a stick.

Switch on/off hanging lights by right-clicking.
