Food Expansion Featured:

This mod also increases the stack size to 64 of all food items that expand the food and vanilla will return a bowl when eaten. Now they don’t need much inventory space.

Current Items:

Bacon and Crispy Bacon

Bacon can be made from undercooked pork chops and can be melted in the oven for Crispy Bacon. Bacon and Crispy Bacon can be eaten much faster than other Foods (16 pieces instead of 32 pieces).

Fried Egg

Scrambled Eggs can be crafted by melting normal Eggs in the oven. They don’t have any additional effects.

Bacon and Egg

Bacon and Eggs can be crafted by combining Crispy Bacon and Scrambled Eggs in the Crafting Table. It has no additional effects.

Cactus Fruit

Cactus Fruits can be crafted by placing 1 cactus on the Crafting Table. They don’t have any additional effects.

Green Jelly

Green Jelly can be crafted by placing 4 Slime Orbs along with 1 lane. If you eat Green Jelly, you have a 100% chance of getting nauseated for 10 seconds. 64 ticks instead of 32 ticks and the green jelly can be eaten much slower than other Food

Chocolate Bar

Chocolate Bars can be crafted by placing 2 Cocoa Beans along with 1 Milk Bucket and 2 sugar. They don’t have any additional effects.

Compressed Flesh

Compressed Meat can be crafted by placing 4 Rotten Meats along with 1 lane. It has the same amount of Food Points and Saturation as regular Rotten Meat, but it doesn’t give you the Hunger effect. Compressed meat can also be melted into Skin.

Cooked Mushroom

You can get Cooked Mushrooms by placing 1 Mushroom (red or brown) in the furnace. It does not have any additional effects.

Carrot Pie

Carrot Cake can be crafted using 1 Carrot, 1 Wheat, and 1 Egg on the Crafting Table. It does not have any additional effects.

Carrot Soup

Carrot Soup can be crafted using 2 Carrots and 1 Bowl on the Crafting Table. It does not have any additional effects.

Spider Eye Stew

Spider Eye Stew can be made by combining 1 Bowl 1 Spider Eye and one Fermented Spider Eye. If you eat this Stew, you will gain a poison effect for 4 seconds. (like Vanilla Spider Eye). Night Vision potion effect for 15 seconds will also be obtained.

Nether Wart Stew

The Underworld Stew can be crafted by combining 1 Bowl, 1 Sugar, and 2 Hades Warts. If you eat this Stew, you will be burned, but all your negative potion effects will be removed. This item is more useful than milk because milk removes the positive and negative effects of the potion and the Nether Wart Stew only removes the negative effects of the potion.

Blaze Cream Soup

Flame cream soup can be made by combining 1 bowl, 1 bucket of milk, and 2 fire powder. If you eat this Stew, you will gain Fire Resistance for 15 seconds.

Dough

Flour is the only item in this mod that can’t be eaten (Ah, because the dough isn’t tasty). But Dough can be used to get bread a little easier. Simply place 8 wheat around 1 bucket of water and melt the products in the oven to receive bread.

Melon Salad

Melon salad can be crafted by placing 3 melons in 1 bowl on the crafting table. It has no additional effects.

Roasted Seed

Roasted seeds are an easy way to get early-game food. Just put some seeds (wheat, melon, beetroot and pumpkin backed) in the oven and eat those delectable seeds.

Lollipop

Craft a lollipop with 1 stick and 4 sugars. It is a useful food source if you have a lot of sugar cane. Since Lollipop is very hard, you can also use them as a melee weapon. It deals 3 damage per hit.

Forbidden Fruit / Starving Fruit

Forbidden Fruit and Hungry Fruit are creation items and cannot be obtained by crafting. However, there is a configuration option to activate the Recipe (8 Notched Apples/Rotten Meat and 1 Diamond Block) for each of them. If you right-click on a Forbidden Fruit, your hunger bar will be filled up immediately, and if you right-click on a Starving Fruit, your hunger bar will be depleted immediately.

Beetroot Noodles

Beetroot Noodles can be crafted with 2 Beets, 1 Bucket of Water, 1 Wheat, and a bowl. They don’t have any additional effects.

Mob Drops:

Horse Meat

Horse Meat can be obtained by killing Horses. Horses drop 1-3 Horse Meat when killed. Horse Meat can be used in the oven to get Cooked Horse Meat. Both have no additional effects.

Squid

Squid can be obtained by killing Squid. Squid drops 1-3 Squid when killed. Squid can be used in the oven to get Cooked Squid. Both have no additional effects.

Bat Wing

Bat Wings can be obtained by killing Bats. Bats always drop 1 Bat Wing when killed. Bat Wings can be used in the kiln to get Cooked Bat Wings.
If you eat them raw, Bat Wings have a 50% Chance to give you Hunger Potion for 20 seconds. The cooked variant reduces the chance of this effect by 10%.

Wolf Meat

Wolf Meat can be obtained by killing Wolves. Wolves drop 1-3 Wolf Meat when killed. Wolf Meat can be used in the kiln to get Cooked Wolf Meat. Both have no additional effects.

Ocelot Meat

Ocelot meat can be obtained by killing Ocelot. Ocelot drops 1-3 Ocelot Meat when killed. Ocelot Meat can be used in the oven to get cooked Ocelot Meat. Both have no additional effects.

Parrot Meat

Parrot meat dropped by Parrot. They always drop 1 piece. Parrot Meat can be used in the oven to get Cooked Parrot Meat. Both items have no additional effects.

Llama Meat

Llama Meat dropped by Llamas. They drop 1-2 pieces. Llama meat can be used in the oven to get Llama Steak. Both items have no additional effects.

Polar Bear Meat

Polar Bear Meat dropped by Polar Bears. They drop 1-3 pieces. Polar Bear Meat can be used in the kiln to obtain a Polar Bear Steak. Both items have no additional effects.
