Moderate (Fruit) – Apple, Avocado, Candle Seed, Cherry, Chestnut, Gooseberry, Lemon, Nutmeg, Orange, Peach, Pear, Plum, Walnut, Cobweb, Hazelnut, Pawpaw, Mango Siamese Bridge

Warm (Fruit) -Almond, Apricot, Banana, Cashew, Coconut, Date, Dragon fruit, Durian, Fig, Grapefruit, Lemon, Mango, Olive, Papaya, Pecan, Pepper, Persimmon, Pecan python, pomegranate, star fruit, vanilla, breadfruit, guava, jackfruit, litchi, passion fruit, rambutan, tamarind

Find Trees

Trees spawn in three biomes – Temperate (i.e. Forest, Hills), Warm (i.e. Swamp, Jungle) and Cold (i.e. Snow). Changing their frequency can be done in the configuration, and what they reduce can be done in the JSON of the fruit block itself.

Tree Behavior

Trees grow from saplings made from 8 items that the tree drops, and any type of sapling. Temperate, warm, and cold plants each have their own style and number of fruits they produce. Fruit and woody fruit have eight growth stages like plants but only three textures. Fruits (both hanging fruit and fruit) can be right clicked to harvest at maturity. You can change which item each block cuts to in the JSON block file itself if you want it to drop something new. You can also cut fruit and cut fruit to hang on leaves (or place anywhere in the case of log fruits) — cutting the fruit requires you to break the fruit and this happens quickly than if the fruit is already ripe and the block will not drop the fruit at that point.

All nuts can be roasted in the forge, campfire and smoked: Almonds, Cashews, Chestnuts, Hazelnuts, Pine Cones, Pistachios, Walnuts and Pecans
x8 fruit items (or chains for Spiderwebs) plus a sapling of any type will produce that fruit tree

Miscellaneous

All fruits and seedlings work in the incubator
Added tags (new OreDictionary) to hopefully work with the Simple Agriculture mod and other Forge compliant food mods.

Food behavior

Crops now restore the same values as the items they resemble in Minecraft.

If a plant is not on that list, it will no longer be edible.
