When killed, the bandit has a small chance (8.5%) to drop a loaded or unloaded crossbow with random durability; drop rate increased by 1% for each level of Loot: 9.5% for Loot I, 10.5% for Loot II and 11.5% for Loot III. Dropped crossbows can rarely be enchanted (10% chance) at levels 5–19 regardless of being enchanted when it spawns.
Crossbows dropped by bandits can have multiple enchantments, including duplicate enchantments on the same weapon.

Pigs have a chance to use crossbows when spawning and they also have a small chance (8.5%) to drop loaded or unloaded crossbows with random durability when killed; this rate increases by 1% for each level of Loot: 9.5% for Loot I, 10.5% for Loot II and 11.5% for Loot III. It can rarely be enchanted (10% chance) at levels 5–19 regardless of being enchanted upon spawn.

- Master level Fletcher villagers have a 1⁄16 (6.25%) chance of selling an enchanted crossbow for 8 emeralds.[Bedrock version only]

Crossbow Minecraft Using
Weapon
The crossbow is similar to a bow, but loads longer and is a bit more powerful, shooting farther with a little more accuracy. Alternatively, they can be loaded with a pyrotechnic rocket that flies in a straight line.
Load them using them, which causes the player to move at a rapid pace. Unlike bows, arrows or firework rockets that can only be fired if the player releases the use button after the crossbow is loaded [Java version only] or if the crossbow completes its loading animation [Version only] Bedrock]. At this point, it must be used a second time to fire the pin.
When fully charged, the player’s speed will return to normal. After that, firing the charged crossbow does not delay any of the player’s current actions such as sprinting or swimming.
The crossbow can even be placed in another stowage slot or into an item frame without unloading or firing rockets or pyrotechnic rockets. A charged crossbow also remains charged after enchanting it with an enchantment table or an anvil.
To use the crossbow, there must be at least one arrow or firework rocket in stock. Players can choose the type of arrow to shoot based on where it is in their inventory:
Arrows in the left hand or the selected hotbar slot if the crossbow is in the left hand will take precedence.
If there is no arrow in the selected off-hand or hotbar slot, the arrow closest to slot 0 will be selected.
The crossbow takes 1.25 seconds (25 ticks) to load.
Players can load arrows, spectral arrows, slanted arrows (any effect) or fireworks (any color/type).
Endermen teleport out of the line of fire so they can’t be hit with crossbow arrows. However, they can still be harmed by a pyrotechnic rocket explosion if the pyrotechnic missile is not detected.

Firework rockets can only be fired by loading the crossbow while holding the rocket in the left hand. They fly at a speed of 32 m/s. Fireworks rockets with a higher flight time will have a longer time before exploding and therefore fly further. Firework rockets use 3 durability points per shot.
Firework rockets also work with the Multishot enchantment, which allows the player to fire 3 fireworks rockets at once. Durability usage increased, resulting in a drain of 9 durability per shot.
Firework rocket will explode instantly when it hits a crowd or block.[Java version only] If the rocket rocket has no explosive effect, it will not deal damage. The explosion of the fireworks rocket deals between 5 and 6 damage, with a fireworks star. The explosion has a radius of about 4 blocks, unaffected by the effects of the fireworks star. Each additional firework star on the rocket deals 1 to 2 extra damage, up to a maximum of 11×5.5 to 18×9 with 7 fireworks stars. Fireworks’ flight duration increases the maximum range the fireworks can travel before exploding, but has no effect on the amount of damage dealt. Likewise, the degree of damage remains the same regardless of the use of any dye. The Piercing enchantment causes a firework rocket to pierce several entities based on its respective level before exploding.[Java version only] Unlike arrows fired from a bow, fireworks do not slow down underwater. .
Fix
The crossbow can be repaired in an anvil or a whetstone by combining two crossbows. Any loaded ammo will be retained from the crossbow on the first slot but sacrificed from the crossbow on the second slot.
