Ender Pearl Minecraft Obtaining

Robbery of the crowd

Enderman has a 50% chance to drop 1 Ender Gem when killed. The reduction is increased by 1 for each level of Loot, up to a maximum of 4 with Loot III.

Chest robbery

A trapped chest that always contains the last 2 pearls can be found in the “false end portal” room of the jungle mansions.

Commerce

In the Java Version, the expert cleric villager has a 2⁄3 chance to sell the last gem for 5 emeralds.
In Bedrock Edition, expert level cleric villagers sell an ender gem for 5 emeralds.

Commodity Exchange

Pigs have a 10⁄459 (2.18%) chance of exchanging the last 2–4 pearls when given a gold bar.

Ender Pearl Minecraft Using

Ender pearls can be thrown by pressing use. After it is thrown, the ender gem is consumed and the player teleports to where it landed, taking 5 damage on fall. Wearing armor with Protection and/or Falling Feathers reduces the damage taken from the last gem.

Ender pearls have a small moving cone; not all of them follow the same path when thrown in the same direction. The direction and velocity of the Ender pearls are slightly random. They can move about 30 blocks‌[Java version only]/45 blocks‌[Bedrock version only] when thrown straight up, and up to 54 blocks forward when thrown at an optimal launch angle of ~35° (on even ground ).

How to use Ender Pearl

The vertical velocity of the pitcher affects the throw. Therefore, timing the throw with a jump can increase the throw range to 42 blocks when thrown straight up and 64 blocks forward at a 35° angle. Throwing while falling greatly reduces range. The Ender Pearl collides with all types of cargo vehicles, boats, end crystals, and hell portals, and moves through the end portal. Ender pearls that fall into the void will disappear and do not cause the player to teleport. However, Ender pearl entities (instead of drop items) are not destroyed by lava and will teleport the player to the bottom of a lava lake/ocean of lava.

The Ender Pearl has a cooldown of one second before it can be cast again. The cooldown is shown on the hot bar by a white overlay on the last gem that shrinks and must disappear before the player can use it again. If there is another inventory or hotbar slot containing the last pearls, they are also covered with a white coating.

Ender pearls can be thrown into the end portal to reach the outer islands of the End.

Ender pearl teleport makes no sound‌ [Java Version Only], but emits a “dropping” sound at the target when dealing teleport damage to the player.

Stasis chamber

Ender pearls are affected by the column of bubbles. An ender pearl can remain floating on the upward-facing bubble column, allowing it to be stored indefinitely. A mechanism can then be activated to make the ender gem hit a solid surface (e.g. by closing the trapdoor), teleporting the thrower back to the setup no matter where they are.

Endermite spawns
