Looting from the crowd

Wandering traders always spawn with 2 trader llamas, each in the lead. When a llama is separated, either by killing it or the wandering trader, pulling them apart, or placing the llama in a boat or cart, lead falls in the llama’s place. llama.

Additionally, villagers, wandering merchants, and monsters other than those listed above can be bound using the map editor or NBT editor.

With a mob that has a lead rope held by the player, using the lead rope on any type of fence‌ (or wall‌ [BE only]) will attach the lead rope to it with a visible knot, tying up the mob go there. To attach it to the wall in Bedrock Edition, the player must hold the lead in their main hand. Multiple conductors can be attached to one fence post. A mob tied to a fence tends to stay within 5 blocks of the fence post.

The wire is broken by pressing the item control button used on the mob again, pressing the button, or removing the attached fence post. The wire also broke when hit by a bullet. Whenever a wire is removed or broken, it will drop as an item at the mob’s location. However, it does not fall off when released in Creative mode.‌ The wire does not break if the attached animal dies.

More chained

A conductor can span a maximum of 10 blocks. If the mob can move towards the player or fence post it will do so. If not, or if the crowd is moving very quickly away from the players, the wire will break.

When the player or knot is more than 7 blocks above the ground, the chained mob will be suspended.

Most mobs that can be chained can remain chained even when the player attacks, and any attached wires do not break.

Wolves cannot be chained after being angry. However, if they become angry while on a leash, the leash will not break, but it cannot be reattached by other methods while the wolf is still angry.

A conductor attached to a hoglin will break if it becomes a zoglin.

A prospect does not prevent mobs from spawning if they normally spawn.

When moving downward and accelerating towards the ground, chained mobs accumulate falling damage and take damage if they hit the ground while still accelerating. When moving up or decelerating (such as when the wire is stretched to the limit), the fall distance is set to one block and thus the mob does not take any fall damage if it hits the ground.

Connected to a mob

If the player enters and returns to the nether portal while holding a wire connected to a mob, that wire remains attached to the mob. However, if a crowd with wires attached enters the gates of hell, the wires will break and fall as an item in another dimension.

A lead can be used to remove mobs from the boat without having to destroy the boat, if the mobs can usually be tethered.

If a block is removed while containing a chained mob, the lead will break and fall as an item, causing the mob to freely roam around.
